** FIXED **

Had to rebuild PHP 8.3.33 from within CWP, and then rebuilt with PHP Manager and mailparse is installed.

Didn't even need to tell PHP Manager to add it.

Sandeep,

Just ran into this on a AL9 server, tried to recompile PHP with:

php-manager switcher 8.3.36 --with-ldap=/usr --with-ldap-sasl --with-sodium --with-mailparse

and

using:

php-manager switcher 8.3.36 --with-ldap=/usr --with-ldap-sasl --with-sodium
php-manager pie 8.3.36 pecl/mailparse switcher

This is what shows:

But for some reason it won't add it.
I've even tried re-installing PHP Manager using your new script.

Again, Thanks for all your help, it really is appreciated it.

I've enabled ldap and sodium by default for all PHP except mailparse, v5 released

    Thanks for this Sandeep. Do you think your will integrate it into CWP? I appreciate the thought that went into it and that the TUI has options/ variables visually displayed, that goes a long way in m

my suggestions:

  1. php-manager should output its current version (and maybe auto-upgrade proposition) on its run.

  2. I'd like to see the list of already installed by php-manager instances for current server.

    Thank you!

Still no joy. With or without Postgres installed (via CWP) -- after applying your suggestions (confirming everything is base OS provided). I still get (for both 8.3.36 and 8.5.12):

checking for PostgreSQL support for PDO... yes
checking for pg_config... not found
configure: error: Cannot find libpq-fe.h. Please specify correct PostgreSQL installation path
ERROR: PHP 8.3.36 configure FAILED. Build stopped; make was NOT run.

Also, after an earlier version of php-manager (v3) installed dependencies, now I am in dependency hell. I have a mismatch of perl 5.26 and 5.32 modules installed, so now dnf doesn't run smoothly. How to straighten it out? Which track do you recommend for AlmaLinux 8?

The PHP manager does not modify any Perl versions and relies on the base Perl version installed on the operating system.

To resolve this issue, please execute the command by copying all and pasting them into your SSH terminal.

dnf module reset perl &&
dnf module enable perl:5.26 &&
dnf distro-sync 'perl*' &&
dnf check

Thanks for the great work on php-manager @Sandeep B.

Would it be possible to change the repository of 7.4 from php.net to take advantage of the backported fixes?

Thank you for sharing the fruits of your labor!

I have CWP installed on AlmaLinux 8.x. After using the Standalone CWP PHP CLI Build Manager, I get the following error:

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'intl' (tried: /usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20230831/intl (/usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20230831/intl: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory), /usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20230831/intl.so (/usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20230831/intl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)) in Unknown on line 0

I do have /usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20170718/intl.so not the version listed in the error. I have an old web app that uses PHP 7.3 so that version is still enabled in CWP if that matters.

How do I resolve this issue?

I also found some posts on this and the CWP forum referring to the following directory: /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin

I don't have that directory. I have:

[root@cwp8 ~]# ls /usr/local/cwp/php71
etc  lib  php.d  tmp  var

Your /usr/local/cwp/php71/ is probably PHP 8.3.36

Do a /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php -v to see

Ours have intl.so under:

/usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20170718/intl.so

/usr/local/cwp/php71/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20190902/intl.so

But I am not sure which one to keep and which one to remove...

Good evening, just a quick question, could we use the php-manager to install php Snuffleupagus? I prefer php-manager has its enabled to allow me to install php 8.5.12 and php-fpm with ease so wondering if at first is it possible and also what would the command be please?
